This three-story palace was built in 1939 for the use of the municipality of Tabriz. The architecture of this palace is based on European architecture, and its main feature is the clock tower located at the highest point of the building. About 10 years ago, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the municipality in Tabriz city, the palace became a museum. The museum has several halls, including a carpet hall, an old camera hall, a publishing hall, a calligraphy hall, and several other halls. Other attractions of the Museum or Sa’at Tower are antique cars parked in the museum yard including the first car which entered Tabriz city and the first fire engine of the city.
Tabriz Municipality Palace Museum is located near Historical Houses such as Behnam House.
