The current location where the National Garden Gate is located in the garden has been in the past a place for a parade of soldiers against Qajar kings. During the Reza Shah era, he ordered the construction of this Gate. Paintings of Reza Khan soldiers, the symbol of the lion and the sun, the crown of the shah, and the verses of the Quran were mentioned on the wall of the National Garden.
The National Garden Gate was built in 1925 and was known as the symbol of Tehran before the Azadi Tower.
