The Park-e Shahr with an area of more than 25 hectares is the oldest park of Tehran, which was started by order of Reza Shah Pahlavi in 1953, and constructions finished in 1960.
In addition to tall trees and beautiful green spaces, this Park also includes other sections: Peace Museum, Aquarium, bird’s garden, bird watching site, sports facilities, artificial lake, and library with 3200 volumes are among other parts of the Park.
