The main core of the current bazaar belongs to the Safavid dynasty, with numerous buildings which were added during the Qajar period. The Bazaar area is relatively vast and is about 140,000 meters, each section of which belongs to a specific trade union. Regarding the architecture, Qazvin Bazaar is very similar to Isfahan and Shiraz Bazaars.
Caravanserai of Sa’d al-Saltaneh is the most attractive part of this Bazaar and has many parts such as Rasteh-bazaar, caravanserai, and so on. The beautiful dome on the south of Caravanserai of Sa’d al-Saltaneh, the beautiful half-arches around the dome, chambers with wood-carved doors, and the repository of caravanserai which has 100 harmonic pillars are some of the interesting and fascinating points of Qazvin Bazaar and Caravanserai of Sa’d al-Saltaneh.
