Rashid-al-din Fazl-o-Allah Hamedani, one of the ministers of Ghazan Khan, who was one of the Mongol Kings, after becoming a minister, made various great efforts for the development of the northwestern part of the country, one of them was the construction of Rabe Rashidi. This place was actually a complex in which more than 5,000 students learned different sciences.
The library, the school, the mosque, the orphanage, the bath, the hospital, the college and university, and the industrial workshops were the various sections of Rabe Rashidi, many of which have already been demolished and the main building has only remained.
