Zagros Paleolithic museum in Kermanshah is one of the specialized museums of the world and the first Paleolithic museum in the Middle East. In this museum, some handmade tools of humans and remaining bones and skull of them are kept. These objects have been found in the ancient hills of different parts of Iran and then have been brought to this museum.
This Museum has 4 other rooms apart from the main hall. The first room contains moulages and handmade tools of human which date back to the Neolithic period and before it. In the second room, there are remaining bones and skulls of primal humans. In the third and the fourth room, there are stone and non-stone tools that date back to the Neolithic period. One of the oldest things that are being kept in the Zagros Paleolithic museum is the remaining parts of a human which dates back to 1 million years ago.
