The Holy Defense Museum is dedicated to displaying the 8 years of the war between Iran and Iraq. The Holy Defense Museum has more than 20 hectares and consists of 7 halls and a sacred defense memorial section on its end. Among the various halls of the Garden Museum, there is just one hall with the use of a museum called Parvaneha (Butterflies) Hall, which has been designed to introduce the commanders of the wars against Iraq. But the rest of the halls are symbols of the events, and all the events of the holy defense can be seen alive in them.

The first hall of the Holy Defense Museum is the Astaneh (Threshold) Hall or the Begining Hall. In this hall, all the events that lead to the victory of the Islamic Revolution and the early days of the imposed war are being shown.

The second hall is Heirat and Vagheeyat (Perplexity and Reality) Hall in which the perplexity of the Iranian people is displayed from the shock of the imposed war.

Defa’a (Defence) Hall is the third hall that represents the defense equipments of the country.

Aramesh (Tranquillity) Hall is the fourth hall of the Garden of The Holy Defense Museum, the next part is the Hall of Martyrdom that is divided into seven sections, depicting martyrdom from first intent to ascension after became martyrs.

The sixth hall is the Pirouzi (Victory) Hall, which depicts the brave victories of the Iranian youth in the days of the war.

The seventh hall is the Saranjam (Final) Hall, which is the ultimate hall of the Holy Defense Museum, visitors arrive at the highest point of the museum after passing through the previous six stages, where they will be faced with memorials, images, statues, and survivors of the imposed war.

Valley Garden of the Holy Defense Museum

Here is a way that, in addition to all its beauty, it is supposed to interpret the concept of resistance to injustice. That is why there may be less colorful flowers and seasonal plants along this path. All plant species used along the path have the same common feature, and they use species that have permanent life.

Khorramshahr Central Mosque

One of the most important mosques that were the symbol of the epic of resistance during the holy defense was the Khorramshahr Central Mosque. In fact, the most sacred site of Khorramshahr is a comprehensive mosque that always reminds memories that can narrate everything during the 8-year-old sacred era. After release, the mosque inspired Iran’s armed forces to succeed.

Resistance 360-degree viewing area

The panoramic 4500 m2 area has the ability to play the video at 360 degrees using dozens of video projector units located in the lower part of the surroundings. The architecture of this section consists of three main parts comprehend of the main hall, gallery, and lateral spaces, and is located on two floors which were opened in the Sacred Defense Week of 2016.
