Honar Bazaar in Isfahan was constructed in 1705 (during the Safavid period) and was known at that time as The Bazaar of King’s Mother’s Caravanserai. Honar Bazaar of Isfahan is a two-story construction and is 200 meters long.
Since the ceiling of this bazaar was very high, in the past, it was also called “Bazaar Boland” which means a bazaar with great height. Honar Bazaar was originally a place for handicraft trades and even now it is used the same, except that most of its handicrafts now include gold and silver ornaments made locally.
