Tabatabaei House is one of the old and beautiful houses of Kashan city, which was a personal property of one of the famous carpet merchants of Kashan. Tabatabaei House has an area of over 4500 meters, including forty rooms, four basements, four yards, and three wind towers. In terms of decoration, this house is one of the most beautiful houses of Kashan which is located near another historical house, namely Borujerdi House. The most beautiful parts of this historical house include Shah-neshin (a traditional element of vernacular Persian architecture) and iwan (a rectangular hall or space, usually vaulted, walled on three sides, with one end entirely open).
