It is a thirty-meter-high cedar, with a diameter of seven meters, and the age of more than two thousand years, which is located in Mehriz of Yazd province and is known as the Old Cedar of Mehriz. The Old Cedar of Mehriz, after the Old Cedar of Abarkuh, is the second most aged cedar in this province.
As the native people of the area say, ten meters from the upper part of this cedar was broken due to a storm that raged this area in the final decades of the twentieth century.
