Modavvar Tower in Maragheh is one of the many towers which were built in Maragheh during the Seljuk period, and the inscriptions existing inside the tower date back to 1167 A.D. There is no information about the identity of the possible constructor and the body which was buried there. Regarding the decoration, this tower is very simple and was built like defensive towers. The Tower and Gonbad-e Kabood are located a few meters away from each other.
